Pedro wants to understand how and why cinema evokes emotions in him that he never
experiences in real life.
He enlists the help of Aya, a first-time director. Together, they begin the casting process. As
the days go by, Pedro reveals himself to be obsessive-compulsive; he can't stop thinking about
meeting Vincent Cassel. Aya also discovers that Pedro is homeless, sick, and believes he is an
alien from outer space. Little by little, she begins to wonder what she's gotten herself into.
